The Island of Hvar boasts a mild climate and lush subtropical vegetation. Your coach takes you from Hvar town to Stari Grad, famous for its large bay, which has inspired artists and poets and dates back to the 2nd century BC. Visit to Tvrdalj castle, the fortified holiday house of the Croatian poet Petar Hektorović with an ethnographic collection and a fishpond. You will have some free time in the town before continuing your scenic ride towards the village of Vrisnik. Your friendly host will welcome you with dried figs followed by a cheese and wine tasting, made locally and produced only in small quantities. Leaving Vrisnik, continue your ride to Hvar.
